Harrodsburg is located in Mercer County, Kentucky, and it serves as the county seat. As of 2010, the approximate population of this community was about 8,350. This city is considered the oldest in Kentucky, and it has also received honors as the oldest permanent U.S. settlement located west of the Appalachians.
